First Trimester of Pregnancy!
The first trimester of pregnancy is a period of amazing changes and development for both you and your baby.
It starts from the first day of your last menstrual period and lasts until the end of the 13th week of pregnancy.
Week 2: After the last period, an egg is fertilized by sperm, starting pregnancy.
Week 3: The fertilized egg, now a blastocyst, quickly grows inside the womb.
Week 4: The embryo has two layers of cells and begins forming the placenta.
Week 5: The embryo grows quickly, causing early signs like sore breasts.
Week 6: The baby's heartbeat begins. Morning sickness is common.
Week 7: The baby's face takes shape. You might feel the need to pee often.
Week 8: Fingers and toes start to form, and you might feel tired and nauseous.
Week 9: The baby looks more like a tiny person. Morning sickness can continue.
Week 10: Major development is done. The baby has eyelids, and you might need new clothes.
Week 11: The baby moves around, though it's too early to feel anything.
Week 12: The baby can suck and curl toes. You might get heartburn.
Week 13: The first trimester ends with a baby having fingerprints and being 3 inches long.
