Signs and Changes During Puberty!
There are a number of physical, emotional, hormonal and psychological changes that occurs in our body, when we hit puberty.

Physical Changes In Girls Body hair
- coarse hair growth in genital area, underarms and legs
- Breast development
- Vaginal discharge - white to clear discharge before periods
- Widening of hips
- Acne
- Increase in height
- Periods.
Physical Changes In Boys Body hair-
- coarse hair growth in genital area, underarms, chest and legs
- Deepening of voice
- Narrow hips
- Beard and moustache growth
- Broadening of muscles
- Broadening of chest Acne
- Spermatogenesis begins
- Emotional Changes during Puberty.
The sudden surge of sexual hormones brings emotional changes in both males and females during Puberty.
The child may have severe mood swings. Sometimes cry out loud and sometimes be short tempered and sometimes confused.
It is advised for the parents to understand their situation and handle them like friend rather being hard during this phase.
Height growth after Puberty
During Puberty a drastic increase in height is seen. Although girls’ height increases slowly during the whole journey in girls as compared to the boys. Females can expect to grow about 2-4 inches after menarche (beginning of periods). Whereas males are seen to have height spurt after sperm Arche (sperm in seminal fluid).
But both of them can expect the height to grow till the age of 22-24 years.
