CHOLINE SALICYLATE + LIDOCAINE/LIGNOCAINE

Dentogel Liquid 20gm contains Choline Salicylate and Lidocaine/Lignocaine and is primarily used to relieve pain from mouth ulcers.

Choline Salicylate, a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID), reduces pain and inflammation by inhibiting prostaglandins, which contribute to pain sensations.

Lidocaine, a local anesthetic, blocks nerve signals in the affected area, providing pain relief. Together, these components address both inflammatory and nerve-related pain sources, making it an all-around solution for mouth ulcers.

The medication is for external use only Follow your doctor’s instructions and dry the affected area before application as per label directions.  Wash your hands after application, unless the medication is applied to the hands.

Apply a small amount directly to the ulcer.  Avoid eye contact Rinse thoroughly if accidental contact occurs.

Possible side effects include allergic reactions, a burning sensation, and gastrointestinal issues If these occur, seek medical advice.

If you forget to apply the medication, do so as soon as you remember.  However, if it's nearly time for your next application, skip the missed one.  Do not apply extra to make up for a missed dose.
