Eprex 10000IU Injection is administered via injection either under the skin or into a vein as determined by your doctor Typically a nurse or doctor administers the injections The dosage of the medication depends on your body weight and the underlying cause of your anemia Taking iron supplements before and during treatment may enhance the effectiveness of this medication Although Eprex 10000IU Injection should be stored in a refrigerator it should be used at room temperature Common side effects of this medication include nausea vomiting and increased blood pressure It may also cause flulike symptoms such as headaches fatigue dizziness and muscle pain These side effects are most frequent at the beginning of treatment but if they persist your doctor may suggest ways to prevent or alleviate them If you experience any severe side effects including seizures inform your doctor immediately In some cases this medication can cause serious blood clots that require urgent medical attention Before using Eprex 10000IU Injection inform your doctor if you have uncontrolled high blood pressure heart disease or goutrelated joint pain Also disclose any other medications you are taking as they may interact with this treatment Your blood pressure should be regularly monitored during the course of treatment either by yourself or your doctor Additionally you may require other medical tests to ensure that this medication is not causing any harmful effects It is unknown whether this medication can harm an unborn baby so please inform your doctor if you are pregnant planning to become pregnant or breastfeeding
