Micrhogam UF 50mcg Injection is administered to prevent Rhrelated complications during pregnancy It is also used for individuals with Rhnegative blood who receive transfusions containing Rhpositive red blood cells Furthermore it is approved for the treatment of immune thrombocytopenic purpura a condition characterized by a low number of platelets resulting in easy bruising It is important to note that Micrhogam UF 50mcg Injection should only be administered by a doctor or nurse and selfadministration is strongly discouraged The injection is typically given in the upper arm muscle During pregnancy you will routinely be offered an antiD injection at 28 weeks and within 72 hours of birth if your baby has a Rh D positive blood type While rare this medication may cause side effects such as fever headache discomfort and tenderness or pain at the injection site If you experience any of these reactions or generally feel unwell it is important to inform your doctor They may be able to provide methods for preventing or reducing these effects Before using Micrhogam UF 50mcg Injection inform your doctor if you have any blood clotting issues or if you have recently received or plan to receive a vaccination
